Yemek yemeden önce kesinlikle içeriğini kontrol edip fiyatları kıyaslamanızı tavsiye ederim çünkü Euro kullanıyorlar 20-30 Euro gibi tutarlar kulağa az gelirken TL'ye çevirdiğiniz zaman çok yüklü miktarlara denk geliyor. Şehirden şehire değişkenlik gösterse bile ortlama 2 kişi için 1 öğün yemek 40-50 Euro arasında tutuyor. Ana yemek salata ve içecekler ile beraber. Eğer podgoricada yerseniz genel olarak restoranları tavsiye ederim ambiyansı güzel ve şehirde fiyatlar ortalam aynı ama Budvada yerseniz ayak üstü dilim pizza vs. satan yerleri tercih etmeniz daha iyi olacaktır çünkü daha fazla tarihi bir bölgeye sahip olan Budva ister istemez daha fazla turist çekiyor ve esnaf fiyatları ona göre yukarıda tutuyor.Aynı şey Kotor içinde geçerli.

Maalesef Şehirde çok fazla gezilecek yer yok ama hiçte denemez tabiki. Görüp görebileceğiniz en iyi yerler 1-2 tane kilise ve park bahçe vs. . Köprü etrafı çok kaygan taşlardan yapılmış kesinlikle buna uygun ayakkabı giymenizi öneririm, terlik,topuklu,kundura vs tarzı ayakkabılar pek uygun değil.

Today we are in Montenegro, a country on the Adriatic Sea where you can go without a visa and which is rumored to be included in the Schengen area soon.

   It is possible to reach Montenegro by air, road and sea. If you are going from Turkey, flying directly to Montenegro will be a bit more expensive, there are 2 airports in the country for direct flights, the first one is in Podgorica and the other one is in Tivat, but most flights are made from Podgorica. Instead, if you look for tickets to neighboring countries such as Bosnia, Kosovo or Albania, you will find it more affordable. You can find bus tickets to Montenegro by bus for approximately 20-35 Euros in the country you are going to. If you want to go from Bosnia to Montenegro, the bus will take approximately 6-8 hours and will go directly to Montenegro, there is no such thing as stopping in Croatia, so rest assured. If you want to go to Montenegro via Albania, the bus will take approximately 4-5 hours. If you want to go through Kosovo, the bus will take approximately 8-9 hours, this is because most bus companies travel through Albania when passing from Kosovo to Montenegro. When you go to Montenegro from other countries, you can buy a ticket for the province you want, but the bus does not go there but to a different place and transfers you to a different vehicle on the way. For example, on my second visit to Montenegro, I passed through Kosovo and was going to Podgorica, but the bus was going to Budva, and after passing the border on the way, they transferred us to a different vehicle, you will need to follow this very carefully because they make the announcement in their own language, and I learned it by chance by asking. Otherwise, I think you would not want to deviate from your plans and be in a different place at night. To use the sea route, you can only travel via Italy, the shortest distance is a direct ferry from Bari, Italy to Bar, Montenegro, but you need to have a Schengen visa for this route. The times I have given may vary depending on the time spent at the border gates and passport controls.

Yes friends, as in my previous articles, I preferred to stay at Hilton here (for the 3rd time :)), of course, there are both pros and cons for Montenegro, unfortunately, the reason is that Hilton is only available in Podgorica, but the city is really run down, so there are not many options to visit, the places where the real tourism and nightlife are experienced are Budva and Kotor. I preferred to stay in Podgorica and went to other cities with the first bus in the morning and returned with the last bus in the evening. If you are not obsessed with hotels like me, you can look at different brand hotels in Budva, Kotor, Tivat regions or you can rent a house from Airbnb, which I believe has a much better view. These change seasonally, but on average you can find a place between 2,000-6,000 TL per night for Airbnb, or you can find places like Hostels and Motels at more affordable prices through Booking.com.

3. FOOD AND BEVERAGE

If you are going from Turkey and say you don't eat pork, you will definitely only have fast food options. As far as I can see, even though there are not many local dishes, they use pork everywhere, but they make all the dishes made around the world very delicious (pizza, pasta, etc.). I definitely recommend you to check the ingredients and compare the prices before eating because they use Euros. While amounts like 20-30 Euros may sound small, when you convert them to TL, they are very large amounts. Although it varies from city to city, an average meal for 2 people costs between 40-50 Euros. The main course comes with salad and drinks. If you eat in Podgorica, I generally recommend restaurants. The atmosphere is nice and the prices are the same in the city. However, if you eat in Budva, it would be better to choose places that sell sliced ​​pizzas etc. because Budva, which has a more historical area, inevitably attracts more tourists and the shopkeepers keep the prices higher accordingly. The same goes for Kotor.

4. PLACES TO VİSİT

Since Montenegro is a small and sweet country, I will evaluate my article with 3 different cities under one country. I hope you enjoy reading it. Because I enjoy writing it very much :)).

1. Our City Capital Podgorica

Unfortunately, there are not many places to visit in the city, but of course you can't try. The best places to see are 1-2 churches and parks and gardens etc. With this structure, the city is quiet and calm like a retirement town, but don't be fooled by this structure, in the winter months the bars and clubs are almost full at night, I would say there is no place to sit. In other words, the city is inhabited by the old in the morning and the young at night.

Saborni Hram Hristovog Vaskrsenja

Our first suggestion is the Resurrection Cathedral - Serbian Orthodox, known as Saborni Hram Hristovog Vaskrsenja,

Even though it is small, it literally screams that I am here, I am still holding the city and its magnificence upright. The cathedral is new and located in an area close to the city. Since there are not many options to visit in the city, it can be one of the places to see. If you have to spend time in the city, I would say add it to your list.

Old Ribnica River Bridge

The bridge, built by the Roman Empire in the 18th century in the city center, is the oldest known bridge in Montenegro. There is a beautiful forest area around the bridge, there are restaurants and cafes inside, if you want to relax a little after a day's tiredness, or if you want to start the day energetically, peacefully and with fresh air, it is the right place for you.

The bridge is made of very slippery stones around it, I definitely recommend that you wear shoes suitable for this, slippers, high heels, shoes etc. are not suitable.

There are 3 things left in the city where there are no more options. If you want, you can go to simulator games such as game halls, Golf etc. If you want, you can go shopping and have plenty of coffee breaks. Finally, you can try your luck at the Casino. Golf Simulator

You can spend time and enjoy yourself by paying an hourly fee of 25 Euros regardless of the number of people for the Golf Simulator located on the -2nd floor of the Hilton Hotel. My advice is to stay for 2 hours if you are going without any previous Golf experience like me, because when you get over the warm-up, acclimatization etc. situation in the first hour and adapt a little more, you will play with more pleasure. Reservation is required, the hotel reception will help you in this regard directly. You do not need to stay at the Hotel for the Golf Simulator, you can also go individually. All the necessary equipment will be provided to you by the Hotel.

Shopping, Cafe Tour

With so many options, my first recommendation for the shopping mall would be Delta City, there are many more options and choices than other shopping malls whose names I don't even remember, the best part of this shopping mall is the ice cream shop on the top floor, no matter if it's summer or winter. Coffee etc. can be found everywhere but there is no other example of this ice cream in the world, I believe it's a flavor you should try no matter what season it is.

Casino

You can be sure that you can find it in every corner, all you need is a passport to enter. Then they give you a card specially printed for your name and you can load the balance you want and start the game you want. Only small amounts can be sacrificed to try but I would say do not get carried away if you feel like you cannot stop yourself, I recommend that you leave the casino directly.

2. Our City Budva

Budva is located right across from the Italian city of Bari and if you want to get some nice sea air, I can recommend you to visit and have a coffee with a view of the Adriatic Sea. I would definitely recommend you to visit the Budva Castle, which is the most popular place in the city. Although it is a narrow and small place, there are plenty of options for shopping and eating and drinking inside the Castle, but my advice would be to eat outside the Castle, since it is a popular area, the prices are a bit higher than the city center, and finally, there is a small church at the end of the Castle, you can visit it and you can visit the walls of the Castle, which has an entrance right next to the church. You are not charged any fee for the entrance to the Castle, but there is a stand selling tickets at the entrance to go up to the walls, I recommend you to visit for 2 euros per person.

3. Our City Kotor

I can say that the city is completely intertwined with nature, you will definitely catch the most breathtaking view that you can see when you go to Montenegro.

The city is a gulf city due to its location. It does not have a direct connection to the warm sea, but it is indirectly connected to the Adriatic Sea. There is a perfect historical castle in the city, but if you want to compare it with the Budva Castle, I would definitely say Budva, but if you are wondering what I should do here after I came to Kotor, then go and visit the castle. As soon as you enter the city, the Gulf, Forest, Castle trio welcomes you with its breathtaking view. Inside the castle, you can see many restaurants and cafes separated for tourists as well as locals who still live their lives.

After leaving the castle, if you went in the summer season, I recommend that you walk from the gulf towards the Dobrota part and definitely take something cold to drink with you on your way, if you want to swim, there is a very long beach, you can swim wherever you want. (Private area businesses are also available, they will be subject to an extra fee, there is also a free beach section.)

Apart from that, there is a cable car that goes up to the high hills from Kotor, but since I have never experienced it, I do not want to give wrong information, of course I can recommend you, my valued readers, to research it as well.
